No one ever tells you how hard life will be. From those first blinking moments when you first arrive on this earth you are innocent, pure. Your only trouble is figuring out where you are and who all those smiling faces staring at you in awe are. Little uncorrupted creature, you know not lies and can trust without further thought. So how is the innocence lost? How do we suddenly start to worry about what we look like and who we talk to and what we really want to believe? For everyone this change happens differently; a part of growing up. As we get older people around us seem to realize we're not the eighteenth wonder of the world anymore. Slowly we are weaned of the idea of the perfect world we thought we lived in. Everything is now seen in a new light. Reality can be cruel. But what people don't seem to get is that reality can also be better than your dreams; a dream where you don't have to wake up. People dwell on the misfortunes and must always wonder "what if...". So many troubles in the world and for just one person alone. But no one tells you this when you are born because you wouldn't understand; couldn't understand. But no one needs to tell you now, you already know and well understand.
